The Acadia Parish School Board met Monday for committee meetings earlier where they learned the district’s final revisions for the 2020-2021 budget, resulted in a $3.6 million surplus.

The Crowley High FFA Chapter, recently recognized as the No. 1 chapter at the State FFA Convention, was honored by the Acadia Parish School Board Monday afternoon.
With public schools scheduled to open in just over a month, superintendent Scott Richard is satisfied with the system’s readiness.
D.S. Bus South will continue as the student transportation contractor for Acadia Parish.
